Madrid born and raised of German parents, this blond haired, green eyed vixen stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the raven haired senioritas of Spain. But being raised among the Spaniards, she has the fire and passion of a local.

After some time at the Sorbonne in Paris, Susi studied at schools throughout Europe. She continued this international lifestyle living as far abroad as Seoul and Tokyo. Currently living in Zurich with her husband, and 2 lovely kids, Leo and Sara, Susi can be found daily, working away at her über cool, slightly industrial atelier.

Having started designing jewellery at age 40, with no formal training, Susi took her influences from an early age, being surrounded by artists and other creative types. Her mother,"Mamu", ran a gallery and fostered many young Spanish artists, counting fashion designers, gallerists, and painters among their close family friends.
(written by Sandy Deasey)

Susi Prinz is a jewelry artist, rebellious designer, noble-punk and amabassador for the actual Zeitgeist. Her one of a kind pieces demand a lot of courage and confidence from the women who wear her jewerly as they become a center of attention. She celebrates and recycles a mix of styles using materials and elements like porcelain, wood, bakelite, bones or glass. Her unconventional Haute Couture style is a refined mixture of the japanese concept Wabi Sabi, meaning beauty in it’s imperfection, retro-elements of the Steam Punk, and aspects of the shabby- chic look.

Her work is sold in exclusive boutiques in Switzerland and New York.
